Shift Simplified collects and stores your company name, email address, number of locations (e.g., stores) which can be personally identifiable information. When using our Services, we collect and store the information you enter into our platform about your employees. We will not use this information for any other reason besides providing you this service, and you can delete the information about your employees at any time. The information collected will vary depending on what information you put into our system, but it usually is your employees’ name, phone number, email, date of birth, store number, and shift type. You are responsible to ensure that you have the right to pass this information onto us. This information is stored on an encrypted data store (AWS S3) and then automatically deleted when your account is closed (meaning you are long longer subscribing to our Services) or if it is deleted or changed by you.

If you contact our customer service personnel, Shift Simplified may record the phone call or retain the email string or chat transcript for quality assurance purposes. Shift Simplified may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your state, type of company, etc. Shift Simplified will not delete customer information other than upon customer request. However, Shift Simplified will automatically delete any information about your employees uploaded by you when your account is closed.

Shift Simplified uses a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of website (“Site”). We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the Site and our products. If you purchase our Services, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g., payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Shift Simplified regularly reviews its security measures to consider appropriate new technology and methods. Please be aware that, despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Shift Simplified retains your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
